El Paso Texas is the nearest city. There are several small towns in between.
El Paso has various hospitals, clinics, hospice and countless doctors and specialist. Shopping is easy to find anything you need. Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreens, Sams club, Costco and to many discount stores to count. Eat at any type of restaurant you could want. Building supply houses and warehouse discount places.
Plenty to do in the area. There is the El Paso Chihuahuas a triple A baseball team. The Rhinos a minor league hockey team. College sports with UTEP and the Sun Bowl! Big movie plex with up to 18 screens. We also have a discount theater see a movie for just $2.oo Nice theater too! Just got an IMAX theater and even a 4 DX movie theater!!! Museums down town. Art and culture centers. Plaza Theater has Broadway shows like Wicked, Jersey Boys and so much more. A renowned comedy club with big name celebrity head liners. Even a water park and large zoo.
Fort Bliss is located in El Paso. So we have a VA hospital close by.
Wanna take a day trip. World class skiing is just a 2 hour drive away. Several indian tribes in the area have various events threw out the year as well.
Take a 3 day weekend and go see the ocean in California or the gulf of Mexico. Disney Land is about a 9 hour drive. Vegas is about the same.
